Discerning of Seven Spirits

Discerning of Seven Spirits

03/26/26 – [Eph 6:12 NKJV] 12 For we do not wrestle (think fight or struggle) against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age or world, against spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places].

Folks there is a spiritual war being waged right now. Not only a war in the middle east which is certainly raging as I type this but also and perhaps even more importantly a battle for your soul and the souls of your family. Is there anyone else out there who can feel the strength and oppressive weight of the war being waged right now besides me?

Eph 6:12 says our fight is not against flesh and blood. Your family, your friends, your enemies and human adversaries are not really who the battle is against.

[Mal 4:5-6 KJV] 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

And then [Luk reconfirmed this promise again in 1:16-17 KJV] 16 where we are told, “many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. 17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

What would characterize the return of the Spirit of Elijah that would turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the disobedient to wisdom to make them prepared for YHWH i.e. Y’shua’s return? What was going on during the days of Elijah, King Ahaz and Queen Jezebel? Baal Worship right? Elijah proved to the people that YHWH was God or Elohim and Baal was nothing and Baal worship was powerless and ridiculous right?  What does the modern day spirit of Ba’al look like compared to the spirit of Elijah and the 7 Spirits of God?

[Rev 1:1-4 NKJV] 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants–things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified [it] by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed [is] he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time [is] near. 4 John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne…Today we look at all of this and more!

Don’t Grow Weary!

Don’t Grow Weary!

06/29/24 – & Don’t Be a Glutton?  Today we are going to look at two seemingly unrelated topics, being a glutton and growing weary. First we’ll look at gluttony, both physical AND Spiritual.  We are told in Exodus 16 that the children of Israel murmured against Moses because they wanted meat to eat like they had in Egypt.  We’ll explore not only the obvious physical lesson against physically overeating meat from this story in Exodus as well as a possible Spiritual lesson about over indulging in Spiritual Meat?  We tie all of this in with an encouraging message of not growing weary by taking breaks from Spiritual Meat and refreshing our Spirit in the Milk and Manna of Scripture…  This message is a good reminder to be satisfied with the feast that YHWH sets before each of us and not constantly lust for more (I know I have been guilty of and had to repent for overeating at times (both physically and Spiritually), how about you?;)

Even Greater Works Than Y’shua Did

Even Greater Works Than Y’shua Did

08/20/23 – Why aren’t we doing them…? Y’shua Himself says if we believe in Him we would do the works that He did and even GREATER works than them.  Why aren’t we?  Can we really literally move a mountain if we have faith?

LISTENING TO HIM ALONE IS A PERSONAL WALK

LISTENING TO HIM ALONE IS A PERSONAL WALK

10/28/22 – Why do so many well-studied believers disagree on so many topics? Aren’t we all reading the same scriptures?  Today we are going to take a look at a strict orthodox black and white interpretation of the Torah in contrast to what Paul and the NT might call liberty and freedom in Y’shua Messiah.  Did Paul really mean we are free to disobey or throw out the Torah or Law of YHWH?  Conversely are we to judge other believers’ understandings and different methods of observance of the Torah according to our understanding and how we are called to walk it out?  If we diligently study scripture and are totally convinced and believe we understand and are walking out Torah according to His rules and Spiritual understanding of scripture and His leading, should everyone else’s walk match what we are doing because He has given us this understanding of His Truth?  Or is this where Paul’s law of liberty comes in?
